Features
Real time rate quotes – Integrates with Ubercart checkout work-flow and provides shipping quote once shipping address is provided. Caches rates during checkout to speed up website operation. If products or address changes then new rates are requested. Shipping rates cost and delivery estimate days can be adjusted. Orders containing certain product SKUs can be excluded from Shipwire quotes.
Real time or batch order fulfillment – Orders can be submitted to Shipwire for fulfillment immediately after payment is collected or in bulk at set intervals. By default orders are submitted immediately but if your store processes a high volume of orders you may wish to switch to batch fulfillment to improve the speed of your checkout process.
Batch shipment tracking – Shipment tracking occurs behind the scenes using configurable settings for intervals and number of shipment per interval.
Real time or batch inventory levels – Inventory levels can be checked immediately after an order is submitted and/or in bulk at set intervals.
Shipment user interface – A main overview page provides a table view of all shipments submitted to Shipwire which can be filtered or sorted. A secondary Held shipments page list only shipments that require attention displaying messages why the shipment was held. Finally Ubercart order pages have a Shipwire tab that displays shipments for that order. Shipments can be also be manually created, edited, and deleted if any issues occur.
Views integration – Many User interface pages use the Views module and can be easily configured to suit your needs. You can customize the information displayed and how it is displayed. Additional displays can easily be created to provide completely custom displays.
Rules integration – The Shipwire Ubercart module provides Rules events which are triggers when a shipment is fulfilled, shipped, and delivered. Full shipment and order information is available which allows for automated process such as send an email to the customer when a shipment is shipped.
Tokens integration – Shipwire shipments expose most data as tokens which can be used to create customized displays and message. e.g. [tracking-number-link] will be replaced by the tracking number linked to the tracking page.
