Here you will find all updates, features, and bug fixes to the Shipwire Platform for July, 2016
What’s New
- Network Optimization Service: We’re excited to introduce our Network Optimization Service to merchants looking to expand into new fulfillment centers. Our team of dedicated experts help our customers identify the most strategic location to use based on individual business needs and goals. For more information, read the blog post here.
- Retailer Compliance – Additional Shipping Inserts: For our Sell Thru Retail and B2B Fulfillment solutions, some retailer compliance guidelines require that inserts are added to their orders, such as return cards and stickers. We have added support for this to a few of our retail channels and are expecting a bigger rollout at the end of Q3, 2016.
- UPS & FedEx handling increase: UPS and FedEx will be changing the additional handling surcharge from 60” to 48” (length of longest side). While this modification began on June 1, 2016 and June 6, 2016, we will not be making the modification within our Shipwire Platform until August 1, 2016. For more information please read our blog post.
- “Report a Problem” flow improvement: As a response to a direct customer ask, we have improved our “Report a Problem” experience within the Shipwire Platform. This function now features a drop down list that includes only the SKUs in the order, making it easier for merchants to report returns without having to scroll through their entire product catalog.
